We were given the task to capture four photographs with regard to the project theme which was "clutter". From these four images we had to select one which we would have to create an interpretation of in print with the processes we have learned throughout the 2 week programme. I chose to depict a clutter of chains on a rusted gated as I found the tones and textures to be quite strong in the image. To the left you can see the stages of tones i went through to produce my final image. I produced various different drypoint tones but found black to be the most effective when set against the rusted oranges and yellows. I added extra green tones to the background to lift the image and make it more vibrant.Overall I was quite pleased with my final print!
